This hike has been on my todo list for some time. I have hiked from the Manning Park side to Mowich camp about 10 years ago, and did not realize how close the Hozomeen ridge trail was. Mike suggested this trail to build on our exploring along the Silver Skagit road.
This is a straight forward trail that gradually gains altitude and like most coastal hikes, not many views till you break out of the tree line, approximately 2/3rds of the hike. We did hit the snow line also at this level, nothing too much but it ended up being about 4-6 inches along the ridge.
